Dakom, who said he had initially wanted to keep the matter private, disclosed the alleged incident while expressing his frustration over what he described as a repeated occurrence.
“I really want to keep this quietly but I can’t. This is the second time my wife assaulted me in the past five years,” he said.
The businessman also expressed intense anger and distress over the alleged assault, saying, “Seeing her makes me want to go to jail for life.”
He reportedly sustained an injury located just above his left ear following the alleged incident.
Dakom’s account has drawn attention to the issue of domestic violence against men, particularly cases in which male victims may be reluctant to speak publicly about their experiences.
